Privacy policy · Updated 26 October 2026
Your details, in plain English
This site is run by me, Josh Byford-Pothan, in New Zealand. I only collect what I need to send you the things you ask for, and I follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What I collect
- When you ask for resources or templates: your email address, your first name if you give it, which page you signed up on, and whether you ticked the box to stay up to date.
- When you join the workshop waitlist: your name and email, plus anything you tell me about your farm or business and what you’d like help with.
- To stop spam and abuse: your browser type and a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address. I can’t turn it back into your actual address.
- Simple page statistics: which pages and buttons get used, and which website sent you here. This uses no cookies and doesn’t store your internet address or identify you.
How I use it
- To email you the links or templates you asked for. That’s a one-off email.
- Only if you ticked “Stay up to date”: to email you when I post a new YouTube video, plus the odd farm AI workshop or tool update.
- To let you know about workshops, if you joined the waitlist.
- To see which resources are useful, so I can make better ones.
I don’t sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps me run this
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the sign-up details.
- Resend sends the emails.
- Google hosts the privacy setup videos (Google Drive) and the session booking calendar. When you play a video or book a time, Google’s own privacy policy applies.
- YouTube links take you to YouTube, where its own privacy policy applies.
Some of these companies store information outside New Zealand.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email from me.
- See, correct or delete your details: reply to any email you’ve had from me and ask. I’ll sort it out.
- You can use every free resource on this site without giving me your email.
If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
